Roo Mountain Vineyards

Pioneered by Earl and Hilda Jones in 1995, it’s the first to produce wine from Spain’s Noble Tempranillo grape in the Pacific Northwest. Now, it offers a range of varietals, including Albarino, Syrah, Merlot, Dolcetto, Malbec, Grenache, and more. The winery has elevated the tasting experience by equipping its patio with retractable shades from ShadeFX. This award-winning winery crafts exceptional Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Syrah from premium grapes sourced from Mendocino County, Anderson Valley, and the Sonoma Coast. In a recent upgrade, Copain Wines introduced ShadeFX’s retractable shade structures to its tasting garden. Four aluminum structures, two 16’ x 18’ and two 12’ x 14’, were installed with manual retractable canopies in Mistry Grey Arcade Ferrari fabric, and gutters were added for rainwater management. This enhancement allows guests to enjoy the winery’s lush valleys, fine wines, and captivating outdoor beauty, regardless of weather conditions.

Cooper’s Hawk Winery

Cooper’s Hawk Winery, under the direction of founder and CEO Tom McEnery, has perfected the art of a total ‘wining and dining’ experience. The Oak Lawn, Illinois, location is a testament to this, showcasing a design that encapsulates a winery, restaurant, and retail space, all inspired by the natural beauty of West Coast wineries. Spanning 10,820 square feet, it features a spacious dining area, private event spaces, a tasting room, an artisanal retail space, and an impressive outdoor dining patio. The patio, equipped with three retractable roofs, is a recent addition to the Cooper’s Hawk brand. This feature enhances customer comfort and ensures full-capacity operation, irrespective of weather conditions. Hermannhof embraced our innovative shade solutions in their new pavilion, designed for large gatherings. Unlike other locations on the property that are either open-air or under a fixed roof, this pavilion offers versatility with six retractable canopies. These canopies provide the option for full, partial, or open covering, adapting to the needs of any event.

Inniskillin Winery

Inniskillin Winery, nestled in the picturesque region of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, partnered with ShadeFX to enhance their outdoor space. A 5-bay custom structure was created, each bay measuring 13’x17′, outfitted with five double manual retractable canopies. This design allows the canopy to be operated from either end, offering versatile coverage options. The canopies, constructed from fire-retardant Ferrari Hemp fabric, prioritize safety while maintaining aesthetic appeal. Complementing this, the structures are powder-coated in a sleek dark grey.
