To enhance both function and design, ShadeFX manufactured a two-bay structure attached to the rear of the home. The retractable shade structures, finished in a matte Jet Black, adds a contemporary contrast to the home’s natural wood exterior. Each motorized retractable canopy spans 16′ x 14′ and features Sunbrella’s Mocha Tweed fabric, chosen not only for its durability but also for its ability to blend effortlessly with the warm, earthy palette of the surroundings. The fabric was custom-tailored to create large, graceful billows, creating a softer and more luxurious atmosphere. An extended rear valance was also added to protect the retracted fabric stack from abrasion against the house, ensuring longevity and preserving the system’s appearance.
